Industry – Medical Device is a plus as is High Speed Digital Design experience
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Define the requirements for electronic systems and participate in electronics architecture.
- Carry out a thorough technical risk analysis and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Develop prototypes for electronic systems including microcontrollers, wireless communication, motors, sensors, power components, wiring, and displays.
- Devise design elements for effective testing and diagnostics.
- Create test methodologies and conduct design verification to ensure adherence to performance and safety standards and requirements.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- BSEE or BSCE with 5+ years of commercial Electrical Engineering design experience with several of the following:
- Energy amplifiers OR Amplifier.
- High speed Digital Design
- Medical Device/FDA
- Motor drivers AND/OR controls.
- Power management OR battery management.
- Signal acquisition and converter selection (ADC OR Analog Digital Converter).
- Communication protocols: I2C OR SPI OR UART.
- Successful board layout and fabrication with BGA components
- Layout impedance matching, noise attenuation and high speed termination techniques.
- Troubleshooting, debug and Board bring up
