We have a client in the Foxboro, MA area with a perm/direct hire opening for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer.
Work as part of a small team, architect, design and develop embedded software for medical device products.
Work closely with electrical engineers
Assist with hardware bring up
Design and develop test software
Required skills and background
BSEE, CE or related technical degree and 6+ years of professional embedded software design experience
Experience working in a medical device environment is a plus
Strong background with C and C++ for embedded system designs
Experience with communications protocols, including RS23s, I2C, SPI etc
Experience with TCP/IP, Ethernet, SNMP, etc
Must be a US Citizen or US Perm Resident and live within commuting distance to client.
